We (me and my 7 y/o daughter) couldn’t have asked for a better surf coach. In just a few days, he helped us progress more than we thought possible (from riding white waves to confidently surfing green waves and even heading out to the reef)! He constantly encouraged us to step outside of our comfort zone, but always with kindness, patience, and genuine care. He knew exactly when to push us and when to reassure us, which made all the difference in building our confidence in the water. His explanations were clear, his feedback was precise, and his positive energy made every session both fun and challenging. We felt supported the entire time. I originally booked Viji for two sections, he was super helpful and able to find a surfing spot that match to my level. Moreover, he offered a lot of insight and feedback instantly each wave you caught. I end up booked 2 more sections with him. The vibe is great and knowledgeable and super friendly. Had the absolute pleasure of having Viji as my surf coach - I initially planned a week of lessons but added more as was having so much fun! Viji was flexible and able to accommodate me at short notice. He was always taking us to the best spots for our level. I feel way more confident in the water as well as managing bigger waves and reef breaks. Viji is so reassuring and patient and helps so much with giving advice and tips to progress. The video analysis was so helpful to see what areas I needed to work on. He’s truly such an expert in his field; he knows everything there is to know about the local surf spots and gives constant guidance. Not to mention he’s just a lovely human. I had a great experience surfing with Viji. He is calm, patient, and really good at adapting the lessons to my level. He gives clear, useful feedback in the water and always makes sure I feel both safe and challenged. I’ve improved a lot thanks to him, and I had a great time along the way. Viji is one of the best surf instructors I have ever surfed with! I went surfing with him several times - already last year - and really feel that I am progressing. Viji is super kind, explains everything super well, gives a lot of tips (also on which board to use etc) and always focused to level up your surf skills. Even in a short time now, I managed thanks to the great coaching of Viji to transition to a smaller 6‘8 board - wouldn’t have believed that this is possible in such a short time.
